Project overview
Dogit is a mobile dog training app that brings professional dog training expertise directly to pet owners through comprehensive video lessons and structured training programs. Created by head trainer Leedor Borlant with over 15 years of experience, Dogit offers five training programs – Puppy School, Obedience, Advanced Obedience, Education, and Problem Solving—containing over 260 lessons. The app enables dog owners to become their dog's trainer, learning at their own pace without expensive hourly sessions or travel to training facilities.
We partnered with Dogit to design and develop their marketing website using Next.js with WordPress as a headless CMS. The project required creating a compelling digital presence that would drive mobile app downloads, communicate the value of app-based dog training over traditional methods, showcase the expertise behind the content, and provide flexible content management for ongoing blog posts and updates.
The website serves as the primary customer acquisition channel, converting visitors into free trial users who download the mobile app and ultimately become paying subscribers.

Challenges
Converting skepticism about app-based training
Many dog owners are accustomed to in-person training classes or private sessions with trainers. The website needed to overcome skepticism about learning dog training through a mobile app, demonstrating that video-based instruction can be as effective—and in many ways more convenient—than traditional training methods.
Communicating comprehensive app value
With over 260 lessons across five programs plus additional features like progress tracking, reminders, and shopping integrations, the app offers substantial functionality. The website needed to convey this depth without overwhelming visitors or creating confusion about what the app actually does.
Differentiating in crowded pet app market
Numerous dog training apps, online courses, and digital resources exist. Dogit needed clear differentiation that would convince dog owners to choose their app over alternatives or traditional training approaches.

Solution
Value-driven homepage narrative
The homepage leads with the core promise: "The World's best trainers in your pocket" and immediately positions Dogit as making professional dog training accessible to everyone. The narrative flows from benefits of training through problem-solving capabilities to trainer credibility, building a comprehensive case for the app.
Problem-solving focus
The website prominently features common behavioral issues – lead pulling, jumping up, focus problems, recall challenges—that resonate with dog owners' daily frustrations. By addressing specific pain points, the site demonstrates practical relevance rather than abstract training concepts.
Six reasons framework
The site presents six compelling reasons to train your dog: strengthening bonds, earning trust, building confidence, developing social skills, community belonging, and enjoyment. This benefit-focused approach motivates action by connecting training to desired outcomes beyond basic obedience.
